Gaming and Tech stuff

Manny Dacat is an avid gamer. He started playing games on the NES and Sega Genesis, but didn't finish any games back then. Manny got his first PC (a Compaq Presario) on December of 1996, and his love for the PC Master Race grew since then. Over the years, Manny subsequently built his own PC. His current build is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x paired with a classic GPU - Geforce GTX 1060.

Manny Dacat considers himself as an mid-early tech adopter. He self-studied HTML3 back in the late 90s and made his dad a website, of course much of those skills have already been forgotten and he, like many others, uses easier "word-processor" like tools to build websites, like this one!

Aside from tinkering and building his own gaming pc, he also likes to tinkers with mobile devices and unlock further capability with these gadgets. His first exposure into tinkering with hardware came with the PlayStation Portable (PSP), "unlocking" it by following guides on the internet and installing aftermarket software. Currently, he likes to buy and tinker with Xiaomi phones because of their 'semi open sourced' nature and the open source development crowd supporting these gadgets.
